Provo River Fishing Report for Early July

We fished twice on the Middle Provo River this week. On Wednesday we guided some folks on the river and then scouted again on Friday.

This week, we fished twice on the Middle Provo River. On Wednesday Jim and I fished several places on the Middle Provo to prepare for a trip scheduled on Friday. On Friday, we guided a Texas family that had never fly fished before.

Jim and I fished five different streams since the last fishing report. We guided folks too “secret” places and on the Middle Provo River. On Wednesday Jim and I fished a small side creek up Diamond Fork and found a full blown Giant Stonefly hatch.

Provo River Fishing Report and Outlook for May

We fished the Lower Provo River once this week on another nice warm, bright day. Again, the bright day should have meant tough fishing, but not so. Fishing on such a bright day was as good as anyone could hope for.  You can see the video near the bottom of this page.
